Symptoms of Diabetes

There are many symptoms you might have if you have diabetes. Diabetes is a disease where your pancreas no longer processes insulin the way it should. Many of the symptoms include dehydration, hunger, weight loss, fatigue, blurred vision, and much more.

One of the signs that you have diabetes is that you become very thirsty. This is from the excess of sugars that have built up inside of your bloodstream. Fluid actually is pulled from your tissues which leaves you thirsty. You might drink a lot more than normal and even urinate more too. If you have an extreme thirst that seems to be out of the ordinary and it is new to you then you should consult your physician and have them check your blood sugar and insulin levels. They can also do tests on your pancreas to see if it is functioning properly.

You might notice extreme hunger too. When the body doesn’t have enough insulin which is required to move sugars to your cells, muscles, and organs they all become depleted of energy. This triggers your body to think you are extremely hungry. You might have just had lunch before you went on the San Diego yachts and now find you cannot wait to eat.

Another symptom of diabetes is weight loss. You might work in jewelry stores and notice the clothes you wear to work are becoming big for you. It is common to have an unexplained weight loss problem when you have diabetes. When the supply of sugar is lacking in the body it doesn’t have the energy it needs. The tissues are starved of energy also and they begin to shrink rapidly.

Fatigue is another big factor for diabetes. You might have went on a San Diego whale watching tour and found you could barely make it through the entire tour because you were too tired. When you have diabetes your cells are deprived from needed sugars which can make the body tired and irritable. Fatigue could mean a number of issues with your body and you should talk to your doctor if you are experiencing it.

Blurred vision is another factor or symptom of diabetes. This occurs when the blood sugars are too high in the bloodstream. It is common for fluid to be pulled from the tissues and even the lenses of your eyes. This can affect the ability of your eyes to focus clearly. If you notice blurry vision and this is new for you then you should be checked out for diabetes.

There are certain symptoms of diabetes you should consider if you think you have diabetes. If the disease runs in your family you should watch out for these things also. This disease can be controlled with insulin but you need to take care of your body to be sure you don’t develop big issues with diabetes. Many of the symptoms you might notice if you have diabetes include fatigue, weight loss, blurry vision, hunger, and even thirst too.
